RESEARCH ON RFID TECHNOLOGY ( Week 6 )

Activity : Student need to make research on RFID technology

Objective : On week 5, student already change the tittle of the project into Development of RFID attendance system using Arduino.Thus, learning and research on RFID is required to increase student knowledge.

Content/Procedure : 

1) Student need to search on new literature review on RFID technologies to replace previous fingerprint sensor.

2) Then, student also need to learn on how to implement I2C 16x2 LCD display for hardware development for this project.

Result & Analysis :

1) Student able to learn on RFID. Basically, RFID is technology work on radio-frequency that can be used for identification of object or person. This technologiy has been implement globally in industries and institutes.

2) Besides that, student able to learn about I2C 16x2 LCD which including its working principle, how to implement and specification based on tutorials and videos on Youtube.

Conclusion : To summarize, student able to gain new knowledge and proceed with the project after changing the title on previous week. Due to Covid-19 pandemic and MCO in Malaysia, learning schedule has been delayed and the process is all in online.
